Phuck That Shit!

My mobile beeped
"Is there some place to sit at departure"
"No" I replied.
"What to do?" She asked.
I said " There is some, at arrival"
"Cool, see you at arrival". She replied.

And there she was, in that button down pink chequered shirt which she left open with black vest which was all glittery and "Shoot for the Stars" written on it, and that blue Levi's which she always like to wear with those pair of adidas sneakers which we
bought together, I saw her walking briskly toward me. Her hairs were brushing her pink cheeks, and there was a big smile on her lips. Her eyes were full on excitement, as she saw me and her brisk walk turned into jog she waved from a distance and she shouted "Hi! Abbas." I waved back and jogged towards her and we hugged. She whispered in my ear "Long time"
"Quite literally." I said.

I took the backpack she was holding and led her to 'Vangoo'. As she entered and saw the name 'Vangoo' she giggled and said " Don't tell me, you started eating South Indian food."

I ensured her I didn't, it just because it's windy outside, and ordered filtered coffee for both.
We took the corner seat just like old times, and as I brought the coffee, she was still smiling looking at me and as i sat she said
"Its great to see you" "Likewise" I said.
And than she asked " What's on your reading list?"

And i told her how the other day, wide awake at two in the morning and worrying about love and life, I decided I needed Shakespeare-therapy. So I shuffled through my book shelf and picked The Tempest.

And explained her.

How over the past year, I have come to realize there is no quick read like a Shakespeare and he actually has wisdom for every occasion.

And she asked "Do you know what Miranda said about Ferdinand in the play."

I started scratching my head, than she quoted "There's nothing ill can dwell in such a temple: If the ill spirit have so fair a house, Good things will strive to dwell with't."

I laughed at this and she patted my knuckles and said "I mean it".
And asked me to work something for my insomnia.

And than we were quite for a minute looking through the glass wall.

And she spoke again and said " You know what Abbas, I still remember the day when you cajoled me, to ask him the last time and his reply is still imprinted on my mind "Sunnn....right Now i know this decision is looking hard to take..but in future u will thank yourself that u took the right decision...
Bloody hell! He was right and I really thank myself for braving the hard times. And look at me now, all hale and hearty. Me without him, is like me always, it was just my creative part gone wild."

And then she cupped her face and was quite for a minute. And said " Enough about me.. You say, when are you getting married?"

I asked " When are you planning a kid?"
She said "Phuck that shit"
I said " Exactly! Phuck that shit!"

And we both laughed insanely.
